FAA General Aviation Awards Program

The General Aviation Industry Awards Program is a cooperative effort between the FAA and Industry sponsors to recognize four outstanding individuals chosen from the flight instructor, flight safety, maintenance and avionics fields.

Winning entries from each FAA District are forwarded to Regional Managers for selection of Regional winners.

Award winners from the nine FAA Regions are then forwarded to FAA Headquarters, and four National award recipients are selected.

The Flight Instructor, Maintenance and Avionics winners are selected by industry representatives. The Safety Counselor winner is selected by the FAA.
