Michael Church has been a flight instructor for over 40 years and has given more than 12,000 hours of in-flight instruction.
Church has been honored by the FAA as National Safety Counselor of the Year and is recognized by the National Association of Flight Instructors as a Master Instructor and Master Aerobatic Instructor He is contracted to the USAF as an Instructor Pilot, teaching spins and aerobatics at the Air Force Test Pilot School.
Church writes most of the manuals and syllabi in use at Sunrise and has published hundreds of articles and columns promoting a more thorough understanding of the art of flight.
