If you do not live in the US and plan a visit to Sunrise, we can assist you in obtaining accommodations. Direct air travel to John Wayne Airport is possible from a wide variety of European cities. Visitors from across the Pacific can expect to connect through Los Angeles.

"Foreign" students and customers often wish to train intensively, with flights scheduled at least once every day. In planning intensive flight training, it is best to give our dispatch team as much advance notification as possible. With several weeks notice, we can put together packages of flight and ground sessions designed to deliver the exact schedule you need.

Sunrise is authorized by the US government to provide student visas (M1) to qualified applicants who wish to enroll in our major training programs. The process requires preliminary school approval of the application. When you contact us, we will do everything possible to expedite the process. Please use the enrollment link in the top menu to get started.

Non-US citizens are now required to receive approval from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in order to begin selected training programs: Sport Pilot certificate, Private Pilot certificate, Multi Engine rating and Instrument rating. This process requires approximately 10 days and can be started from abroad.
