Typical Advanced Known Sequence

Competition training offers a unique path to improving flight skills. The objective criteria applied by contest judges quickly identify areas of strength and weakness and make it possible for pilots to move beyond opinion to certainty.

Participation in sanctioned contests with Sunrise aircraft is encouraged, and our customers and students are actively supported in developing competition skills in all categories: Primary-Unlimited.

All the Sunrise aerobatic instructors are competitors, and our current staff features 5 pilots who are now or have been Medalists in the California Championship Series.

For all students, local training is supplemented with training and critiquing in regularly scheduled sessions at Southern California competition boxes.
